- (adjective) : A term used to explain arcane practices attributable to sizing evolution or inflation. Sizing evolves to fit an increasing median population. As sizes of doorways, furniture and airline seats are increasing to accommodate increasing consumer girth, so must apparel. Were this not true, items of daily life would only fit people from the 1800's.
