tap-out (verb) : A procedure used in the casino gaming industry in which a gaming dealer relieving another will tap them on the shoulder according to procedure and the dealer that is going on break or off their shift will clap their hands and show their palms to convey that their hands are free of playing pieces and/or chips and stands relieved by the new dealer.
I forgot to tap-out once and the shift manager reprimanded me for it.
