smirkle (noun) : Smirk + twinkle; a very cheeky, cutesy smile, often used with friendly teasing. Can also be used as a verb. I first used this word over 12 years ago while chatting on the internet, and it stuck with me.
Jack knew Mary was only kidding with him when her serious expression gave way to a smirkle.

In his American Idol audition he tried too hard and thus became a victim of smirkumstance.
