scamping : Scamping is suburban camping. This means to build a campfire and other activities normally associated with being out in the wilderness being done in one's backyard. The advantage being you can retreat to the refuge of your home if need be.

We cooked marshmallows and hotdogs over the fire during our scamping last weekend.
