roll off the old block (other) : A word that tells you to be yourself, to not be like the old dad or mom, but to stand up, to be a cool person and to be differant. The opiset of "like a chip off the old block", perfect for cool persons.
Roll off the old block, will you, I'm so sick of you saying "my dad likes this, my dad thinks this" roll off the old block and be cool.
