prodiginous (adjective) : Being the result of nurture and nature meeting the road. Being the result of genes combined with the improved methods of education which, theoretically, produces a superior result in the progeny.

Despite obviously being intelligent people, their progeny were obviously prodigies as compared to either of the progenitors in their youth. The children were prodiginous.
