pixelography (noun) : the use of computer software to accomplish artistic effects too difficult with film- and paper-based pigments or for photographers to achieve using traditional, in-camera techniques. Pixelography’s medium is the computer, not the camera or the airbrush. A pixelograph may include components appropriated from artwork created conventionally.
Pixelographers create most advertising images today. pixilated : Pixilated is a word used to describe an image where the individual pixels are visible.
If you zoom in to far, the image becomes rather pixilated.
