(verb) : Gamer terminology, notably in the Massive Multiplayer On-line Role Playing Game (MMORPG) of Everquest (EQ). Said when a character gains an Alternate Advancement (AA) point.

"w00t! i just pinged" or "ping 100" to denote the gain of a 100th AA point.
