Organoleptinomics (noun) : : a branch of biotechnology concerned with sensory evaluation (taste, appearance, odor, mouth feel) of foods. It compliments genomics, transcriptomics, and metabolomics and was first applied to individual cocoa (Theobroma cacao L.) embryos. It promises to greatly accelerate the breeding of cocoa for improved flavor and aroma.
