hammer pants (noun) : peg-legged pants made of a shiny, synthetic material that have an extremely baggy, low sitting crotch area that drops down to the knees; named after MC Hammer who became synonymous with this style of pants (not to be confused with parachute pants).

After seeing MC Hammer's video for "U Can't Touch This," I begged my mom to get me a pair of hammer pants for my birthday.
