(noun) : a swirling column of air is similar to a tornado in appearance but is much weaker, is usually associated with a downburst or straightline winds in a severe thunderstorm; can cause tornado-like damage, but its structure is more similar to that of a dust devil

The gustnado caused minor damage to the farm as the storm passed.
