Females dress in leggings, oversized sunglasses, and Ugg boots in all seasons, adding a North Face coat in the winter. The rarer coastie male wears a popped collar and aviator style sunglasses. Term used mainly in Midwest, esp. UW-Madison

- Coastlings don't seem to mind the rainy weather & like the beauty and benefits of the ocean.
