Blanche DuBois Syndrome (noun) : a condition that causes a person to have delusions of grandeur and create an imaginary world fueled by lies in where he/she makes him/her appear better in order to compensate for something he/she is lacking in real life; named after the character in Tennessee William's play "A Street Car Named Desire"
It was obvious the self-important guy at the end of the bar was suffering from a bad case of Blanche DuBois Syndrome when he was going around telling everyone about his super expensive luxury car, yet no one had ever seen it.
